Sorghum halepense var. sudanense
A vigorous, drought-resistant millet that grows up to 2 metres high and matures early.
The fast-growing plants can be cut several times a year and used e.g. as silage or hay. Sudan grass is mostly used as a fodder plant and is sometimes also sown for game.
